The examining ethnological studies about the conceptualization of ethnofolkloric constituents provides us with a vast hermeneutical repertoire initiated from different perspectives: historical and geographical, structuralist, functional/morphological, aesthetic, semiological, phenomenological. Starting from the folkloristical interpretations by B.P. Hasdeu and up to the evocations of cutting edge, the subject of defining constituents belonging to the oral popular creations reveals an increased scientific interest, but also an interdisciplinary approach, reaching to the attention of linguistics, theory of literature, folkloristics, ethnology, cultural anthropology and archetypology, psychoanalytics etc. The formalization involves the establishment of a code, a system of signs, underlying oral literary communication, in which the functional syncretism captures by combining various languages of expression of folklore creation: oral, music, dance, theater etc.
