The suspicion surrounding the feminine literature refers to several of its dimensions, of which the most often invoked can be the sentimentality, considered belonging to the literature written by women. But there were a lot of writers who have written as if they were women writers. We can say the female temperament is more patient, more inclined towards the developed writing (loquacious for some people) and massive volumes. But Mircea Cărtărescu some what in Marcel Proust’s approach cultivates the detail and the insistence on certain visions, on nostalgia and details. Seeing how many forms of literature written by women or feminine literatures exist, how could be taken seriously the men who express their opinions about the literature written by women? It would be a Pyrrhic victory, so I recommend a suspension of judgment a la Sextus Empiricus.
