The stereotyped units are present in abundance in French, this class being a part of the lexical culture of this language. We distinguish the following stereotyped units: structures of different kinds as expressions and collocations, proverbs and sayings, clichés, aphorisms, standart formulas. All these units have a common characteristics and namely to be a conceptual forme expressing the world’s vision proper to a glottic community. The stereotyped units are actualized in their canonic form, being in many cases supposed to all kinds of restructuring wich proves their presence besides their main characteristic of stability, the property wich could be considered as the principal one-their criterion of changeability within the discourse. In this paper the author analyses different types of structural and semantic changes of stereotyped units in the literary and media texts.
