Studying the problem of legal relations on the Internet from civil doctrine positions and the national civil legislation, this research outlines only those social relations that refer to the civil law object and those that are present on the Internet. In order to explain the particularities of these relations, the article expounds the civil scientists opinions dedicated to research legal relations, that highlight the essential discrepancies regarding the character of the link between social relations, legal norms and legal relations. The main difference between the civil legal relations on the Internet and those that exist outside the World Wide Web reside in their virtual nature, i.e. they appear and develop in an unlimited space. In this case, the law usually is not capable to assure the protection of the rights of World Wide Web users. Thereby, there is no doubt that in case of settling the social information relations on the Internet trough civil law norms, we deal with an incomplete reflection in the norm of law of real life and there is no corresponding efficiency of the defensive methods of the civil participants rights in the World Wide Web.
