Very little has been written about the Military High School „King Ferdinand I” from Chisinau. And even today mentioning it is avoided among high schools. To imagine what competition for admission at this high school was, we give only two figures: 300 candidates and 30 seats. And it’s obvious that after such a rigorous selection, who managed to pass the exams would really become an officer. Even the military student attitude was a special one. Each student had his order on the first day of studies and in high school one didn’t think about anything besides studies, physical training and behavior in society.
