В статье анализируются международно-правовые акты, касающиеся требований к организации и функционированию судейского самоуправления и особенностей построения системы органов судейского самоуправления. Исследуются позиции отечественных и иностранных ученых относительно правового статуса и системы органов судейского самоуправления. Осуществляется анализ систем органов судейского самоуправления зарубежных стран. Исследуются концептуальные подходы к определению статуса Высшего совета юстиции Украины и зарубежных стран. Представлены предложения по реформированию системы органов судейского самоуправления Украины. Выделены положительные аспекты и недостатки судейского самоуправления Украины и перспективы развития этой системы.

The article analyzes the international legal instruments relating to the requirements for the organization and functioning of the judicial authorities and the features of building a system of judicial self-government. It is studied the position of domestic and foreign scholars on the legal status and the system of judicial self-government. It is made the analysis of the systems of judicial self-government of foreign countries. It was studied the conceptual approaches to the determination of the status of the High Council of Justice of Ukraine and foreign countries. It is presented proposals for reform of the judicial self-government of Ukraine. It is highlighted the positive aspects and the shortcomings of the judicial self-government of Ukraine and the prospects for development of the system of judicial self-government of Ukraine.
