Rezumat

Turkish learners have difficulty in learning foreign languages that are spoken all over the World. The cultural differences play an important role as well as the different language families. Turkey has been a cradle of the civilizations throughout the history taken place in Anatolia where Turkish Nation have currently been living since Modern Turkey was founded. The Ottoman language that remained under the influence of Arabic and Persian languages was called as old Turkish as well. The language predominantly consisting of Arabic and Persian language was a rich language. The Turkish language is a new language which was formed after the Turkish Republic was founded. The Turkish Languge is mainly spoken by the Turkish People whose ethnic roots are different one from another for 92 years that The Turkish Republic was founded. Everybody knows that someone should know and speak the rules of the language spoken if someone wants to learn a foreign language. The “th” sound (voiced and unvoiced) and the Diphthongs are unavailable in the Turkish Language because it is a member of Altaic language family that is the sub-group of Ural-Altaic language family. It is an agglutinating language. Because of that, the stem of the verb does not change in any form of the sentence, such as positive, negative, and question forms. On the other hand, English is a member of Hindu-European language family. It is completely different from Altaic language family.
