Rezumat

Terahertz time-domain and infrared spectroscopy were used to better understand the luminescence and crystallographic data of yttrium tantalate and niobate phosphors. It is clearly seen from THz measurements that the optical properties of doped phosphors changed significantly with activator incorporation.
