Rezumat

The law guarantees equality in rights for women and men in all the fields of life, including in the field of legal labour relationships. However, due to the fact that in general women are considered a more vulnerable group in the field of legal labour relationships, they require, in some cases, special protection measures. Therefore, the Labour code provides a series of legal guarantees for the work of women, in general, and for pregnant women, in special. These privileges do not represent discriminatory deeds, but differenced treatments applied to women
