Rezumat

This article outlines the problem of the opportunity of quality education, being treated in the logic of “quality of education - quality of man - quality of life”. There are revealed the dimensions of educational quality, its ensuring as planning and potential. They are treated from the point of view of qualitology, by levels. There are distinguished three approaches (pedagogical, quality management, multidisciplinary theory). There are made attempts to bring up the problem of developing the educational quality concept in pre-university institutions. There are proposed actions for ensuring the quality of education in Republic of Moldova and there are specified problems needed to be resolved.
