There were defined the main problems regarding the decrease of Ukraine economy’s dependence on energy. It was proved that the use of bioenergy is an important factor allowing to reduce the consumption of traditional energy resources and to reduce our country’s dependence on import, as well as to improve the ecological indicators and development of the agricultural sector in Ukraine. There were suggested the basic ways of economizing energy consumption, as well as the development of production of bioenergy and alternative fuel types.
