Rezumat

The main functions of literary chronotope (compositional, thematic, axiological (evaluative), figurative) form the axis of the aesthetic-literary whole in the literary work, through their structural-functional interaction, conditioned by the literary genre and the author’s artistic personality. In the literature, as temporal art, the functional structures of the artistic chronotope are determined also by the dominant artistic time. In Hanu Ancutei the cyclic and idyllic time is dominant. It is revealed the correlation of the cyclic time with the thematic axis of the compositional unity of this ,,story framed in frame”, employing 9 stories with different chronotopes, with the retrospective vision of the author and with his specific way of presence, as stylist of the ,,foreign word”, his relationship with each storyteller.
