The ethnologist Victor Cirimpei realizes an essential self-portrait in the volume of synthesis The folkloric, literary and political-national comics, in which there are reflected all the components of his complex formula of research, developped/dotted in the 30 chapters of the book. The anniversary ethnologist understands to „weigh” in his manner his contribution, emphasizing/directing the reader’s attention to what he considers his duty: „concerned before with the mythology, the beginnings of the popular culture, the Thracian nation, the Romanian ethnological, the history and the literary criticism – the comics’ configuration remains a little ignored”.
