Study of reference area limestone quarry of ,,Lafarge Ciment” (Moldova S.A.) (period up to operating) showed that the ecological and biodiversity state are determined by the natural conditions of
the investigated site. From a biogeographic point of view the site of quarry is placed at the contact of Central European, Eurasian and Mediterranean areas. The location is submitted from the forest-steppe and steppe regions with petrofite ecosystems (for stîncărie, sessile oak, pedunculate oak, linden) and aquatic ecosystems (water bodies, rivers, wetlands). Analysis of the soil cover of the area indicates that the territory of the district meet almost all soil types and subtypes, spread across countries. Terrestrial flora study
confirms that herbaceous associations were formed from a wide range of species: plants of economic importance, petrofite species and hydrophytes, etc. Terrestrial and aquatic fauna analysis demonstrated
the presence of a rich fauna whole vertebrate and invertebrate species due to forest ecosystems, steppe,
fine, petrofite, water, etc. |
