The article speaks about the importance of developing pupils creative imagination within artistic activities. It states the creativities attributes: fluidity, plasticity and originality. There are highlighted five ways of stimulation and feeding the creativity: culture, techniques, personal development, mental energy and amusement. Also, the child has a series of mechanisms which favors the growth of imagination: critical thinking, the spirit of observation, liberty in thinking etc. All at once, there are factors that break the development of artistic creativity which will be eliminated by the teachers in their educational process and execution of artistic works.
