The article is devoted to the research of religion as a basic element of the forming of personality and its intercommunication and influence from theoretic and legal positions on the other form of consciousness – legal consciousness. The purpose of the article is the research of influence of religion as the form of public consciousness on legal consciousness, applying an analysis and comparison of religious canons of basic world dogmas and their ideologies. To these basic dogmas an author takes christianity, islam and buddhism. Positive features, that are inherent to each of the researched religions, are subjected to exposure from the view of estimation of laws, their observance and settings on the lawful behavior of person. During the research we come to the conclusion, that each of the introduced religions contains positions where basic common to all mankind values and rights are set forth, thereby occupying one of the dominant places among the factors of influence on the forming of legal consciousness.

Стаття присвячена дослідженню релігії як базового елемента формування особистості та її взаємозв’язок і вплив з теоретико-правових позицій на іншу форму свідомості – правосвідомість. Метою статті є дослідження впливу релігії як форми суспільної свідомості на правову свідомість, застосовуючи аналіз і порівняння релігійних канонів основних світових віровчень та їх ідеологій. До цих основних віровчень автор відносить християнство, іслам та буддизм. Підлягають виявленню позитивні риси, які притаманні кожній з досліджуваних релігій, з огляду оцінки законів, їх дотримання та настанов на правомірну поведінку особи. У ході дослідження приходимо до висновку, що кожна з перелічених релігій містить положення, в яких закріплені основні загальнолюдські цінності та права, тим самим займаючи одне з домінуючих місць серед чинників впливу на формування правосвідомості.
