This paper presents research on the cultural aspects of the various linguistic representations of the concept “patriotism” in political discourse. The role of this concept in political discourse is crucial as it helps to identify the culture and the ideology of the society refl ected in the respective languages and discourses. For this purpose, the author introduces theoretical framework of discourse analyzing the speeches of the political leaders as R. Reagan, M. Thatcher, M, K.Ataturk, H. Aliyev with different cultural background. |
