The period 1988-1994 became one of the most tragical in centuries-old history of Azerbaijan. Claims of Armenia on Nagornyj Karabah, put forward her within many decades after an establishment of the Soviet authority in this republic, smoothly pererosli in a “hot” phase with the connivance of, and it is frequent also to open support of Moscow. Intending to create «Great Armenia from the sea up to the sea», the Armenian management systematically carried out a genocide of azerbaijani people these years and has managed, at support of parts of the Soviet army, to grasp not only Karabah, but also a number of areas adjoining to them, caused thus a huge loss to economy of Azerbaijan.
