| Rezumat | ||||||
The situation of the Ortodox Church from Transnistria was catastrophical in 1941. Only one church has been worked on the whole territory between Nistru and Bug in Odessa with only one priest. Another churches have been completely destroyed (235 churches) or changed in clubs, shops, story-houses etc. The Romanian Authorities intrusted the remarking of churchly life from this region to a special Ortodox Mission, which has been activated till 1944 being recorded some special results: it has been remade and refixed the majority of the churches, it were employed servant priests, it
have been reopened several monasteries, it have been settled two teological schools, it has been editated one churchly newspaper etc. |
