The study aims to follow the originality of one of the most celebrated poets of the contemporary Romanian literature, spotting however the cultural traces originated from „the anxiety of influence” (Harold Bloom) in his work. It is also highlighted the way in which his litterary sibian fellows make use of a specific cultural artifice to fooll the censorship by so-called „signal words”. In this way they update – happening to be on the same oppressive ideological ground – the anterior subversive intertextuality experienced by the French and Russian fellow writers. The material provides a unique critical bibliography in the Romanian, Russian and Englishlanguages.
