Humor is national phenomenon. Studying humor in different linguistic communities, it is possible to distinguish both general and specific attitudinal characteristics of people. In any society humor is one of the means of self-identification, a way of expressing emotions, a manner of developing relationships between people. The investigation of humor as a cultural element contributes to understanding cultural differences in humorous interpretation. |
