Unrecommended voice calques in the Romanian spoken in Bessarabia. Voice calques are included under morphological calques. Unlike other types of calques, morphological calques do not show a high degree of diversity. This is explained by the fact that morphology is one of the fields with higher resistance to foreign influence. In the Romanian spoken in Bessarabia, voice calques are characterized by imitation from Russian of the reflexive voice (in cases where literary Romanian requires the use of the active voice) and, in rarer cases, the active voice (in cases where standard Romanian recommends the use of the reflexive voice). Similar to other types of unrecommended calques, voice calques lead to degradation of the language in this linguistic area.
