Mihaelei Ursa’s book Eroticon. Tratat despre ficţiunea amoroasă (Eroticon. Essay about romance prose) tells about erotic literature perception as life event and as a cultural phenomenon. This kind of romance literature perception has double effect: to entertain the reader and to contribute to world literature space development. To reach the goal romance literature uses visual images called by Mihaela Ursa eroticons, and erotologs, those are possible romance ideas (plots). The author’s concept is perfectly illustrated by examples from world literature starting from Middle Ages and Renessance and finishing XX century. The book reveals author’s knowledge and her special attitude to the matter.
