Rezumat

We can already speak with certainty about the existence of a rich bibliography about European construction, the evolution of European communities, the evolution of the idea of European unity and about our space. European Union – economic, political community that defense of 27 Member States, performing with a number of specific challenges through a unified policy and programs. Today UE is the world's second largest economy after the U.S. and one of the main actors in political relations and international security issues. All authorities are staunch supporters of Moldova’s gradual integration with the EU in the foreseeable future. Consequently, European integration is the bedrock of the current government’s program. There is a remarkable openness towards Moldova in all EU capitals, and this offers new opportunities, ones that have to be translated into concrete achievements. Thus, the Eastern Partnership (EaP) has become a key priority for the current Moldovan government. As a result, the EU has started negotiations on the future Association Agreement with Moldova, which will offer political association and economic integration. The European Commission has also sent a high level advisory group composed of nine advisors who are assisting the Moldovan authorities in developing and implementing sectoral policies compliant with EU standards and practices. The Republic of Moldova as a state with European vocation, involved in the European Neighbourhood Policy and Eastern Partnership without any clear prospect of adherence, demands and deserves something more that simply a status of the EU neighbor, especially that this state can be integrated on the basis of a common historical, cultural and linguistic identity with that of Romania, whereas the EU is already familiar with such a precedent.
