This article refers to the importance of housing units in the development of areas from touristic poin of view and the possibilities of launching some form of accommodation. Accommodation is a necessary component of tourism development and the quality and diversity of accommodation provided influences the type of visitors to a city. Given the fact that tourism industry have two types of services, namely services relating to travel (travel by itself) and services rendered at the place of residence, would be trivial to exclude accommodation services in tourism industry. If we talk about regionalization, then we can characterize the work of tourist accommodation in Cahul department like part of Republic of Moldova since 2001-2004, with increasing economic indicators in the district, which allows the launch period on the tourist accommodation units which currently working in.
