Geographical indications are effective tools for promoting rural development, because they help producers get a super-profit in exchange for quality guarantee, contribute to the correct and equitable distribution of income throughout the production chain, beginning with producers of raw materials and ending with merchants, exploit the site of origin of the product, create jobs and prevent rural exodus. The system of geographical indications proved to be viable both in the Community space and in such countries as India, China, Iran, Georgia. Will it also be opportune for the development of agroindustrial system in the Republic of Moldova?

Indicaţiile geografice constituie instrumente eficiente pentru promovarea dezvoltării rurale, deoarece ajută producătorii să obţină un supraprofit în schimbul garanţiei calităţii, ajută la distribuirea mai corectă şi echitabilă a veniturilor pe întreg lanul de producere, începând cu producătorii materiilor prime şi terminând cu comercianţii, valori că locul de origine al produsului, creează locuri de muncă şi preîntâmpină exodul rural. Sistemul indicaţiilor geografice s-a dovedit a fi viabil atât în spaţiul comunitar, cât şi în astfel de ţări ca India, China, Republica Islamică Iran, Georgia. Va fi oare acesta oportun şi dezvoltării sistemului agroindustrial din Republica Moldova?

Географические указания являются эффективными инструментами содействия развитию сельской местности, поскольку они помогают производителям получать дополнительную прибыль взамен гарантии качества, способствуют более правильному и справедливому распределению доходов по всей производственной цепочке, начиная от производителей сырья и заканчивая торговцами, помогают эксплуатировать место происхождения товара, создавать новые рабочие места и предотвратить отток сельского населения. Система географических указаний оказалась жизнеспособной как в государствах Европейского Сообщества, так и в таких странах, как Индия, Китай, Исламская Республика Иран, Грузия. Окажется ли она благоприятной и для развития агропромышленного комплекса Республики Молдова?
