This section, dedicated to the Professor Alexandru Burlacu, does not intend and does not mean the official record of a round number of years. Far from our intention is the homage with Soviet flavor. What we aim is closer to the idea of a mirror that his colleagues and followers decided to place in front of him to provide his authentic professional image. Especially that the time has come for what is said to be an occasion for a philologist to quantify his achievements and success. The project aims therefore, first of all, at drawing a distinct profile in the local literary criticism. It is known that before being recorded in literary history, the activity of a critic goes through a gear of professional opinions. Then, the series Alexander Burlacu’s articles creates a new parallel form of communication with peers from ghetto, providing him a kind of feedback that gives further motivation for writing.
