The perception of flood risk has become an important tool for management plan regarding this issue. In this paper the study is focused on the analysis of the public perception of flood risk from the Prut catchment area, for this purpose 10 villages were selected, which was applied sociological survey. 50 persons from every village were interviewed. The survey was realized during 2012. All villages included in the sociological study were affected by the floods of 2008 and 2010. The questionnaire consists of four chapters as follows: knowledge and attitudes towards the natural disasters from the Republic of Moldova, level of experience and awareness, authority’s attitude in actions of disaster warning and damage mitigation produced by floods, socio-demographic data. For processing statistical data the SPSS programme 16.0 version was used. Moreover, the questionnaire results can be used as a support in decision making.

Percepţia riscului la inundaţii a devenit un instrument important pentru planul de management vizând problematica respectivă. Lucrarea dată se axează pe analiza percepţiei publice a riscului la inundaţii din bazinul râului Prut. În acest scop au fost selectate zece localităţi din zonă, unde fusese aplicată o anchetă sociologică privind percepţia populaţiei a riscului la inundaţii. Au fost intervievate câte 50 de persoane din fiecare localitate. Sondajul a fost realizat pe parcursul anului 2012. Toate localităţile incluse în studiul sociologic fuseseră afectate direct de inundaţiile din 2008 şi 2010. Pentru prelucrarea datelor statistice a fost utilizat programul SPSS versiunea 16.0.

<dc:description xml:lang='en'><p>The understanding of driving forces for self-assembly in the solid state has emerged as an attractive approach to the fabrication of new materials, and considerable effort has been made towards the supramolecular networks assembled by covalent and hydrogen bond [1]. The assembly of these complexes strongly depends on the selection of both the metallic centers and the ligands. Compared to 4,4&acute;-bpy, the advantage of 4,4&acute;-diaminodiphenylmethane (dadpm) molecule as a bidentate-bridging ligand is the possibility to form the hydrogen bonds via terminal amino-groups, that is why it is selected as a good candidate for ligand in supramolecular architecture [2]. Herein we report the synthesis and characterization of the [Zn(dadpm)4(H2O)2](NO3)2 (H2O)2 (1) mononuclear complex. Compound 1 was obtained as a result of the reaction between Zn(NO3)2&middot;2H2O and dadpm in CH3OH solvent and has been characterized by IR spectroscopy, single crystal X-ray diffraction and thermal analysis. In the IR spectrum of 1 the &nu;as(NH) and &nu;s(NH) bands and &delta;(NH) deformation vibrations of dadpm molecule are observed at 3399, 3326 cm-1 and 1610 cm-1 . The &nu;(CH2) vibration bands are observed at 2857, 2805 cm-1 . Compound 1 crystallizes in triclinic P-1 space group and represents mononuclear Zn(II) complex where dadpm works as a monodentate ligand (Fig. 1). The Zn atom is coordinated by N atoms from four dadpm ligands and O atoms from two water molecules, forming a distorted octahedral coordination of ZnN4O2. Thermal analysis curves of the title compound are shown in figure 2. Thermogravimetric (TG) and differential thermogravimetric (DTG) analyses show that the thermal decomposition of 1 includes a few steps. The loss of uncoordinated and coordinated water molecules was observed as a well resolved process completed at 203 oC, and accompanied by two weak endothermal effects observed at 112 oC and 148 oC in DTA. Subsequent heating leads to the thermal degradation of the ligand. The remains residues correspond to ZnO with no change to 1000 oC. Figure 1. View of the Zn(II) environment Figure 2.
