Harmonization of economic and environmental relations, requires the development of new models, tools and technologies that would minimize the negative impact of economic growth on the environment, nature and society, saving additional and unnecessary costs. Accumulated practice demonstrated that current policies do not fully meet the requirements of market economy and the environment. As priority directions of new environmental and economic policies of the Republic of Moldova can be considered as follows: a) enlargement ministerial collaboration; b)Strengthening institutional capacity and management; c) Environmental management business and environmental certification; d)Restore and maintain natural potential. In other words, environmental economics as a new science will become the cornerstone of sustainable development and will aim to build an efficient mechanism of action in the practical implementation of measures in the field of environmental protection and their evaluation in economic terms.
