The “transnistrian syndrome” had a great influence on the social and political life of the Republic of Moldova during the period that followed the independency declaration in 1992, sometimes putting at a stake the historical destiny of the country. For 20 years the civil society and the political class of the country have been concerned by the Transnistrian conflict, mobilizing considerable human and material resources in seeking an adequate solution for the given issue. The authors express their points of view on the topic of the failure to solve the Transnistrian issue, and come with progressive solutions for solving the conflict. |
