Pediatric Oncology Service in the Republic of Moldova is founded in 1989. Now in the Republic of Moldova activates the pediatric oncology department, oncohematological department for children and pediatric office in clinic of Institute of Oncology. Statistics evidence of children with cancer is carried out by methodology- organization department of Oncological Institute of Moldova. In the Institute of Oncology for children’s with cancer are performing surgical treatment, chemotherapy and radiotherapy. For children with cancer with state of emergency surgery treatment is performed at Centre Mother and Child Health Care. Many surgeries is carried out by surgical teams formed of physicians from various medical centers. In Pediatric Oncology and oncohematological department children receive chemotherapy treatment by modern schemes. Soon will be open bone marrow transplant department and it will be possible high dose chemotherapy.
