Rezumat | ||||||
Contemporary research for development of new antituberculosis drugs focuses on the following main areas: targeting of mycobacterial cell protein export systems, targeting cell wall integrity, intracellular energy processes targeting, targeting the
mechanisms involved in the development of resistance, etc. Despite some obvious progress in development of new anti-TB drugs, a continuous research is still needed to overcome the problems connected with wide spread of MDR and XDR tuberculosis. |
