Rezumat

In this study the author proved that the theory of Nicolae Manolescu’s realistic fiction stands on an algorithm through which is emphasized first a mutation made by the modern novel from the „existence” into something that is outside it with which it interacts, with the second level. The novel remains „a way to participate in everyday life”, despite the fact that the modernization of this genre knew several stages of circumvention of Romanesque, to make room for the idea that “the unusual of life” work in the narrative world as a general rule. Critical perspective takes the stiffness out of fixed, Euclidean categories and makes room for processuality. The question What is a novel? is replaced by How is the novel? And the graphic form that results from the parameters of investigated condition cannot be rigid either. For this how continuously subsumes various and contradictory ways of reporting to reality which is constantly changing. This how has only one fixed reference which is the idea of analogon. So, actual items enter the imaginary in different proportions and effects over time.
