One of the infinite nuances of the Basarabian identity can be found in the book of Doina Postolachi, entitled “Poeme cu molii” (“Poems with moths”), where the author reduces the world to a closet. Although the moths are subject to numerous lyrical sketches, they do not matter, as the TOPIC of the book is the human being (in a generic plan) thrown in the closet of existence. The world from that anonymous and sordid room of waste is covered with an infinite sadness of failure and a boundless desire of human communication transposed into an unquenched thirst of poetry, in an irresistible temptation of the Absolute.
