Rezumat | ||||||
Lubomir Guentchev is a Bulgarian author who occupies a separate place in the
literature in French of southeastern Europe. Born in 1907, disappeared in 1981, declared “enemy of the people” in 1952, he remained banned from publication in his lifetime in Bulgaria. His works have begun to break the silence since 2003. He left essays, books of poetry, theater plays in French and also in Bulgarian. He also translated a lot. He practiced the translation in a very empirical way out of canons, modes and traditions. It is this excentricity that will be analyzed through his translation activities between Bulgarian, German, French and Russian, the poetic, dramatic and symbolist material translated and his practice, very personal, of literary translation. |
