Rezumat

In Clinic of Vertebrology, Orthopedics and Traumatology of the "Natalia Gheorghiu" Scientific and Practical Center of Pediatric Surgery 12 children with different pathology of the locomotor apparatus treated with "LitAr" material have been pre- and postoperatively examined with a follow-up of 3 to 5 years. Children were aged between 3 to 17 years. The structure of locomotor pathology in which the material "LitAr" was used, consisted of the following nosological units: good-quality lesions of short and long tubular bones, diseases of foot’s bones (an osteoblastoclastoma-1, solitary and dystrophic cysts-5, and a fibrous dysplasia-3), acquired (posttraumatic) false joint -2, osteomyelitis-1 consequences. In all cases intra focal puncture was carried out with cavity filling by material "LitAr" in combinations with an antibiotic for 70%. The volume of filled bone’s defect varied from 4sm ³ to 200sm³. At all patients with benign diseases of short and long tubular bones, posttraumatic and postosteomyelitis nonunion and operation with an alloplasty by the material "LitAr", after 1 year there came full reorganization of the pathological center.
