Taking into consideration the objective to integrate into the European Union announced by Moldovan authorities, it will be necessary in the near future a connection of the Republic of Moldova monetary policy to the strategy and tactics of the European Central Bank monetary policy. In this respect, it is suitable an analysis of the experience of central banks that have been successfully implemented the monetary policy based o inflation targeting in order to create the necessary conditions for implementing it in the Republic of Moldova.
