Pentru a dezvolta o aplicaţie, proiectanţii sistemelor încorporate au nevoie de a cunoaşte în detalii diverse circuite şi platforme, capacităţile şi arhitectura lor. Selecţia componentelor hardware include alegerea procesorului, perifericelor şi a memoriei. O decizie cheie ţine de alegerea corectă a unităţii de procesare. Pentru a evalua costul şi performanţa unui nou dispozitiv încorporat este necesar de aplicat anumite mecanisme de modelare şi estimare. În articol este prezentat un mecanism de estimare rapidă a costului hardware încorporat în sistem. Abordarea propusă poate fi folosită ca o metodă pentru estimarea rapidă a costurilor unui nou dispozitiv încorporat, fiind potrivită în cazul aplicaţiilor de volume mici şi medii.

The paper concentrates on the cost-performance analysis of embedded systems. Designers of embedded systems need to understand different chips, their capabilities, and their architectures before creating the design. Hardware component selection includes choosing the processor, peripherals, and memories. A key decision is choosing the right processing unit. Modelling and estimation mechanisms should be applied to evaluate the cost and performance of a new embedded device. The paper presents a mechanism for early estimation of the embedded hardware cost. The proposed approach can be used as a method for early estimation of the cost of an embedded device, and it is suitable for low up to medium-volumes applications.

Cet article se concentre sur l'analyse de la coût et performance des systèmes embarqués. Les concepteurs de systèmes embarqués ont besoin de comprendre différentes puces, leurs capacités et leurs architectures avant de créer le design. La sélection comprend choisir le processeur, les périphériques et la mémoire. Une décision clé est de choisir le processeur. Mécanismes de modélisation et d'estimation doit être appliquée pour évaluer le coût et la performance d'un nouveau appareil embarqués. Ce travail présente un mécanisme pour l'estimation précoce du coût du matériel embarqué. L'approche proposée peut être utilisée comme une méthode d'estimation rapide du coût d'un appareil embarqué.

В данной статье рассматривается вопрос анализа эффективности встраиваемых систем. При проектировании встраиваемых приложений, разработчики нуждаются в понимании возможностей и архитектуры раздичных схем и платформ. Выбор аппаратных компонент включает в себя выбор процессора, периферийных устройств и памяти. Ключевым вопросом является принятие решения относительно выбора центрального процессора. Для оценки стоимости и производительности вновь разрабатываемых встроенных устройств необходимы конкретные модели и механизмы. В статье представлен механизм оценки стоимости встроенных аппаратных компонентов на этапе раннего проектирования системы. Предлагаемый подход может быть использован в качестве метода для ранней оценки стоимости вновь разрабатываемых встроенных устройств в приложениях малого и среднего объёма.
