<description xml:lang='en' descriptionType='Abstract'>This article investigates the problem of international cooperation of the Security Service of Ukraine, in particular the issues of the legal nature of international and national legal instruments functioning of the Service, and legal relations in the sphere
of protection of state sovereignty, constitutional order, territorial integrity, and a number of other pressing issues. The author points out that national security can be guaranteed by a powerful deterrent (political, economic, military and getting the highest possible assurance of external security), or by the country's participation in influential powerful organizations, and with proper legal regulation of this institution.</description>
<description xml:lang='ru' descriptionType='Abstract'>В статье исследуются проблемы международного сотрудничества Службы безопасности Украины, в частности вопросы юридической природы международных и национальных нормативно-правовых документов функционирования Службы, а также правоотношения в сфере защиты государственного суверенитета, конституционного строя, территориальной целостности и ряд других актуальных вопросов.
Автор обращает внимание, что национальная безопасность может быть гарантированна с помощью мощного потенциала сдерживания (политической, экономической, военной и получение максимально высоких гарантий внешней безопасности), или за счет участия страны во влиятельных мощных организациях, а также при надлежащем правовом регулировании данного института.</description>
