Country’s prosperity and its population’s welfare completely depend on the level of the national economy, which is inseparable from the international economy. The country’s authorities, the Parliament and the Government of the Republic of Moldova, pay special attention to the assurance of the national economy integrity and to its integration in the international economy. In this view, a number of normative acts – Laws, Government Decisions, etc. have been adopted, which aimed at optimizing the country’s economy and, respectively, at the population’s welfare, and at the assurance of a favorable investment climate. Nevertheless, the realization of these objectives can be achieved only if in this activity scholars and practitioners are involved, especially, in the field of legal protection of the national economy, and fighting of corruption and infractions in the domain of economy. The present work dwells on certain problems of legal categorization of infractions in the domain of economy and corruption.Furthermore, on the basis of certain local and foreign scholars’ views on the legal interpretation and categorization of infractions in the domain of economy and corruption, we shall expose our own opinion as well.
