The present article describes one of the non-traditional methods of teaching/learning English and German at the Foreign Languages and Literatures of the State University of Moldova and at the Department of Germanic Languages of the Institute of International Relations of Moldova, namely, e-learning method. This method implements the new informational technologies on the basis of the system “Multimedia-Brig” which implies a close contact between the teacher of foreign languages and the programmer. These materials were used at first for the individual work of the students, then they were used by the students of the extramural departments (journalistics and librarianship), now they can be used also by persons who want to learn the abovementioned languages individually.
