The exegesis between the Prut and the Nistru considers Grigore Vieru an initiator and an architect of the folkloric consciousness in the contemporary Romanian literature, a philosopher whose work insistently sends you to the great richness of tradition, to the origins of immortality. The poet understood that especially the folklore and Eminescu identify themselves with the mother, the land and the native language, representing some vital sacredness generating verses. From the aesthetic point of view, the poet’s returning to the origins was a stringent necessity of reaffirmation of the literary-artistic continuity,recapitalization of the major values and authentification of his own poetical books.
