The initiation of environmental activities by North Atlantic Alliance was an expression of mood gain the opportunity to undertake joint action in the protection of natural resources, reflecting the public concern and having as support the discontent of people form the surrounding areas of military bases. The environmental programs have expanded gradually through the regions surveyed and valued areas, under the post-Cold War management studies being performed mostly with Turkey and Greece, order of actions that indicate the growing interest, geopolitical and environmental segment from south eastern Europe and Central Asia.
