The aim of this paper is to analyze the quality assurance of Moldovan Higher Education system on three dimensional scales and namely “3C”: Compatibility, Comparability and Convergence. These tools are considered the main route to achieve confidence and the main goal of European Area of Higher Education to become attractive and competitive in order the meet the challenges of a knowledge based society. The analysis is carried in the context of Bologna Process which is the brand of European Higher Education as well as a new form of international governance and platform of innovations’ transfer. Starting from analytical discussion of the essence and importance of quality assurance, 3 “C” scale meaning, it assesses the degree of compatibility, comparability and convergence achieved between the Quality Assurance system of Higher Education from Republic of Moldova and European Standards and Guidelines. It concludes by reflecting upon the low degree of 3C found, discusses the implications and makes some policy proposals.
