Flori Balanescu provides us with a dialogue about femininity in its various forms in a book entitled In your hands. Designed on the background of post-Decembrist epoch, the novel is built as a personal and poetic retrospective diary, with psychological and psychoanalytic resorts announcing from the start the author’s intention to trace a personal route on a femininity map. The article aims at pursuing representations of femininity and the author’s ideas about womanhood.
