The text, The axis of the testamentary posterity or a demarche for a big prize towards the work of a great poet, is a reverential discourse dedicated to the poet Grigore Vieru presented at the common meeting of the General Council of the Academy of Science of Moldova and the Senate of the State University of Moldova dedicated to the celebration of the Romanian Language. The poems, songs, books and even the name of Grigore Vieru claim new valences of non-oblivion. The poet’s name is immortalized throughout the Romanian area on the frontispieces of high schools, schools, kindergartens and libraries. Streets and avenues, scholarships and prestigious literary contests profile him in posterity. The author is very sure that together with Nichita Stănescu, Marin Sorescu or Constantin Noica, great Romanian personalities of the world rank, Grigore Vieru’s name will obviously raise the fame and prestige of the Nobel Prize.
