Rezumat

The spectacular return to the heritage of choral music of the church, an action commenced in the late twentieth century has proved of particular importance to the spirituality of our people. It is through religious choral art have been preserved and passed on the traditions and customs of our ancestors, it is this sphere of activity served as a spring, where it comes from not only business of the choral art in Moldavia, but the music culture in general. Remember that the first school where he taught the subject of “music” were spiritual ones, the first collective choirs and instrumentalists, have been created within those schools, institutions and among the most distinguished such is part of the Theological Seminary opened in Chisinau in 1813. This spiritual school, which means a great event and a turning point in cultural life, resulted led to galaxy of illustrious people, composers, conductors, performers, that marked the work of the musical past our country. Berezovschi Mihail, Alexandru Cristea, Mihael Barca are only a few known names. Mr. Berezovschi, one of the most prominent figures of our culture, which succeeded in the early twentieth century to establish the first business of the church chor of Bessarabia, which, collectively, an enviable record of success in the field of choral music at the time of interpretation. The article we refer to the work of the chor, but also other groups, which, in the opinion of the musical personalities of the past in Romania, has achieved a high level of interpretation. Try these pages to reflect some aspects of church music, we try to reflect and establish a link between tradition and modernity, between past and present of religious choral art from Moldova. Thus, we refer to the work of a church chor that December 2010 marked 30 years of activity. It is a chor the Church of St. Nicolas in Chisinau, a direct continuation of the wonderful cultural tradition that started and promoted by our predecessors.
