Rezumat

Most of the words in a language have a feature of having several meanings, i.e. they are polysemantic. In order to give light to the differences in meanings the author analyzes and compares texts in which this or that word is used. Due to their polysemantic sphere, verbs can belong, in one meaning, to a class, in another meaning, to another class: Ion a însemnat (recorded) everything on paper (action verb) and Ion a însemnat (meant) much for Ioana. The verbs characterized through semantic dynamism are also implied in a specific relation with examples of free positions which it opens: agentive, passive, etc. Thus, within polysemantic verbs there can be recorded a large palette of arguments having different roles.
