In the present article the author attempts to make an onomasiological classification of the nominative units, using as illustrative material anatomical terms selected from
Romanian regional linguistic atlases. Such a classification is based on the motivation of the nominative units, which is preceded by the process of reflexion of the objects’ signs in people’s consciousness. The signs that motivated the creation of dialectal anatomical terms are: form, position, function etc. |
