Rezumat

This article examined the contribution the academician Gheorghe Rusnac the emergence and development of political science in Moldova. Mr. Rusnac was the first head of Political Department in the country, established in 1989 at the initiative of the State University of Moldova. In 1993 scientist and Professor Gh.Rusnac devive rector of MSU. As the manager has brought an outstanding contribution to the creation in 1995 of the first Faculty of Political Sciences of Moldova. Gh.Rusnac scientist was President of two Specialized Scientific Councils to support doctoral thesis in political science. A gentleman of great merit lies in the foundation of the National School of Political Studies. He also led doctoral thesis in Political Science 15 people (7- DSc. and 8 - PhD). Disciples of Gh.Rusnac working today as teachers, resear-chers, politicians and government officials. Scholar Gheorghe Rusnac has numerous publications - 39 monographs and textbooks, 205 - scientific articles, dozens of collections of documents and materials, dictionaries, brochures. His work included a total of 590 scientific titles. At present monentul Gh.Rusnac holds the position of vice-president of the Academy of Sciences is responsible for relations between the Academy and universities.
